wood coating
From Akzo Nobel
Patent No. Europe 1,343,939 A
Akzo Nobel has received a patent for coatings for wood, wood-based and cellulosic substrates. The coating is comprised of a low-energy low-emission process by applying press coatings, ie. aqueous colloidal dispersion of ethylenically unsaturated polymeric particles with 40%-60% weight filler and pigments, applying heat and pressure for cure, optionally, printing onto coated materials, applying the UV curable topcoat and irradiating.
