The Flood Co.: This specialty coatings
company has made two appointments
aimed at increasing its international
reach. Brian Schneider has joined the
coatings company as international
sales manager, responsible for implementing
the division’s sales, marketing
and business development programs
though sales representatives in
Latin America and Asia.
In addition, Serge Lavoie has been
named national sales manager of
Canada for The Flood Specialty
Company Ltd., Flood’s Canadian division.
Mr. Lavoie will be responsible for
implementing The Flood Company’s
specialty coatings sales and marketing
plans and will also oversee activities
of Sundry Marketing Services
Ltd., the selling arm of The Flood
Paint Specialty Company Ltd. in
Canada. Based in Sidney, British
Columbia, he will also be responsible
for technical and product training in
the region.
Flood has also promoted Gary
Finseth to vice president of marketing.
Mr. Finseth joined Flood a year
ago as director marketing. In that
capacity, he helped define the company’s
marketing efforts and guided a
number of strategic initiatives to
strengthen the company’s brand message
and product offerings, according
to Anthony M. Ciepiel, president and
COO.
