● Wearz 4-Ever, a polyurethane wood finishing system from Parks Corp., a Fall River, MA-based maker of
coatings, paint removers and refinishing products, has been rewarded for its efforts to create a product
that would stand out from others on the store shelf.
The company and its supplier, PROMA Technologies, were awarded the Peter Rigney product of
the year award from the Association of Industrial Metallizers, Coaters and Laminators (AIMCAL)
for the holographic packaging and POP brochure for the Wearz 4-Ever clear finish product line.
Other participants in the Wearz 4-Ever project included Oak Printing Co., the Cleveland, OH
company that provided converting and contract packaging services, and Connemara Converting,
Bensenville, IL. Parks Corp., which also manufactures the Pro line of refinish products sold at Home
Depot, provided the graphic design for the label and brochure.
