H.B. Fuller’s Sales Rise
8.1% in First Quarter
H.B. Fuller Company’s net revenues for the quarter ended Feb. 28, were $318.6 million, an 8.1% increase from the first quarter of last year. Improved volumes and positive currency effects accounted for increases of 3.9% and 5.2%, respectively.
Fuller’s Global Adhesives sector’s net revenue rose 9.8% compared to last year and volume increased 4.5 percent. The Full-Valu/Specialty group’s net revenue increased 4.4% and volume rose 2.7%.
“We are pleased to have realized volume improvements in all regions this quarter,” said Al Stroucken, CEO. “New products, improved processes, fresh ideas and energized associates will allow us to fully participate in the improved economic environment.”
