Elects New Officers for 2004-2005
At its meeting held in San Francisco, Colorizer Associates, Inc., a marketing group comprised of 33 independent paint manufacturers, reviewed new strategies in marketing, merchandising and technology and elected its officers for the 2004-2005 term. Elected officials are: Casey McCormick, McCormick Paints, president; Todd Braden, Rodda Paints, vice president; Doug Vogel, Diamond Vogel Paints, secretary; and Dick Cunningham, Passonno Paints, treasurer.
At the meeting, Colorizer also created a new marketing committee that will meet on a semi-annual basis. Chairing the marketing group is Noel Booker of Progress Paints.
According to Robert Shapiro, Colorizer’s executive director, the annual meeting provided members with new insights and ideas into the paint retailing industry. “The whole idea of the group is to draw upon our collective experience as paint manufacturers and marketers. We have a very active membership where everyone participates, and the ideas generated from the group prove beneficial to all of our members,” Shapiro said.
