LANXESS OFFERS HEAT-STABLE
PIGMENTS FOR POWDER COATINGS
Bayferrox and Colortherm heat-stable
pigments from Lanxess are particularly
well suited for use in powder
coating applications.
The Bayferrox line includes red,
yellow, black and brown pigments.
These iron oxides feature maximum
weather resistance and lightfastness
and can be combined with suitable
binders to formulate durable coatings,
according to the company.
Colortherm 10 and Colortherm 20
iron oxide yellow pigments, which
have been stabilized by post-treatment
with inorganic substances,
have been specially developed for
higher temperatures. Additionally,
yellow pigments (Colortherm 30 and
3950) are available for temperatures
