Colorcon, a formulator of a wide range of film coating products and other excipients for the pharmaceutical industry, has opened its new Western Region Technology Center in Irvine, CA. This new facility will feature state-of-the-art coating suites and laboratory scale production equipment. A satellite Tablet Design Laboratory will also be on site for customer interactive tablet design sessions. Colorcon coating and formulation training courses will also be held at this site in the near future.
