BASF Automotive Refinish Solutions recently participated in the 2009 Autorama “Educational Days” reception, which is held to attract new talent to automotive aftermarket industries. During Autorama’s annual Educational Days, students and instructors have the opportunity to enjoy the best the custom car and automotive aftermarket industries have to offer. The events also feature guest speakers who share their passion for the industry. Chip Foose and Troy Trepanier were on hand to address and encourage the approximately 3,000 students and instructors during an Educational Days reception. In addition, BASF displayed its Foose Signature Line of automotive refinish paints at the Chip Foose Autorama exhibit.
Additionally, the winner of this year’s Autorama Ridler award was presented to a custom 1932 Ford ‘Deucenberg V8’ painted with BASF’s ‘Dark Garnet Red Metallic’ Glasurit 90-Line waterborne product.
