BYK Additives & Instruments has opened a new lab in Dubai, the commercial metropolis of the Arab Gulf states and one of the fastest growing regions in the world.

With the lab opening in Dubai, BYK Additives & Instruments has laid the foundations for providing local support for its Middle East customers in their search for innovative solutions for the paint and plastics industry.

Dr. Zakir Hussain Ansari is the head of the new laboratory. With years of experience in the coatings industry he can now attend directly on the spot to any technical questions that arise.

“It’s our aim to respond quickly to customer inquiries and offer the best solutions," said Dr. Roland Peter, chairman of the management board. "This laboratory with its state-of-the-art equipment is tailor-made for this."

The new laboratory is accommodated in Dubai’s ultramodern Biotechnology & Research Park  called Dubiotech.
