Valspar Paint recently launched a new multi-platform, fully-integrated advertising campaign supporting the extension of the Valspar Love Your Color Guarantee, their unique color assurance program that offers a complimentary replacement color to anyone who does not absolutely love their first color choice.
The new advertising campaign stars two chameleons – Val and Jon – in live-action and 3D animation who embark on their own journey of change and improvement by using their natural ability to change color to help choose the right color palette for their home. Tapping into the “love your color, or change your color” theme offered via the Valspar Love Your Color Guarantee, the campaign reinforces the brand’s commitment to helping everyone connect to the power in color and underscores how easy it is to find the right color and transform any space.
The new 30-and 15-second television spots called “Choices” will run on a diverse mix of programming across major broadcast and cable networks. The program will be supported by advertisements featured in national print home and lifestyle publications, in addition to digital and radio components.
Print advertisements will begin running in May issues of Better Homes and Gardens, Country Living, HGTV Magazine, House Beautiful, Real Simple and Traditional Home. Digital and radio components, as well as signage in Lowe’s stores nationwide, will complement the commercial launch.
Valspar is also supporting the extension through social media with the “Valspar Color Project”, an online video series featuring celebrity couples sharing their color transformation stories, benefitting Habitat for Humanity.
