Allnex introduces UCECOAT 7788, a cost‐effective, innovative solution for formulators of water‐based UV curable wood coatings looking to differentiate and customize their products.
UCECOAT 7788 is a tin and VOC‐free radiation‐curable polyurethane dispersion developed for industrial Wood and Furniture applications. It offers a unique combination of versatility, stability and performance/cost ratio.
UCECOAT 7788 is characterized by best‐in class value‐in‐use properties such as drying behavior and dispersion stability. Further it offers a good balance in elasticity, hardness and toughness resulting in an excellent coin resistance. Coatings based on UCECOAT 7788 are tack‐free before cure, offering ease of use without compromising on esthetical aspect.
Finally, its novel and unique polymer design offers a wide compatibility with other polymer chemistries as acrylics or even alkyds, enabling formulators to explore new blending combinations off the beaten track.
