Galactic has received approval from ECOCERT in accordance with their standards on natural and organic raw materials for a number of its natural solutions for cosmetics, detergents and paints. Founded in 1991, ECOCERT is a leading international environmental organization responsible for the certification of food products, cosmetics, detergents, perfumes and textiles. It is based in
Europe but conducts inspections in more then 80 countries, making it one of the largest organic
certification organizations in the world.
ECOCERT acknowledges that Galactic’s solutions are based on raw materials derived from
renewable resources and have been produced by environmentally friendly processes. ECOCERT
also checks for the absence of GMOs, parabens, phenoxyethanol, nanoparticles, silicon and
animal-derived ingredients, a fact which further highlights the naturalness of the solutions
“We, at Galactic, are constantly striving to offer our clients natural ingredients for their
formulations, and are delighted to be deemed ECOCERT compliant for several of our products,"
said Denise O’Connor, market regulatory affairs officer.
