Allnex has introduced UCECOAT 7788, a cost-effective, innovative solution for formulators of water-based UV curable wood coatings looking to differentiate and customize their products, according to the company.
UCECOAT 7788 is a tin and VOC-free radiation-curable polyurethane dispersion developed for industrial Wood and Furniture applications. It offers a unique combination of versatility, stability and performance/cost ratio.
UCECOAT 7788 is characterized by best-in class value-in-use properties such as drying behavior and dispersion stability. Further it offers a good balance in elasticity, hardness and toughness resulting in an excellent coin resistance. Coatings based on UCECOAT 7788 are tack-free before cure, offering ease of use without compromising on esthetical aspect.
