As part of the U.S. Green Building Council’s National Leadership Speaker Series, Sacramento Mayor Kevin Johnson, chair of the Resilient Communities for America Campaign, will outline his vision for a national movement that will safeguard our communities, adapt to a changing climate and transform adversity into economic opportunity. In addition, the luncheon will unveil a new report from the American Institute of Architects: Cities as a Lab: Designing the Innovation Economy.
Coordinated by ICLEI USA, the National League of Cities, World Wildlife Fund and the U.S. Green Building Council, the Resilient Communities for America Campaign inspires greater local leadership on resilience and provides affiliated local governments with free resources to help them achieve their goals.
