The International
School of Hydrocarbon Measurement (ISHM) will be held May 13-15, 2014
at the Cox Communications Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. This will
mark the 89th annual event which has been presented in affiliation with
the University of Oklahoma since its founding in 1924, and which is
acknowledged as one of the oldest and largest hydrocarbon measurement
schools in the world.
For 2014, over 180 lecture classes and numerous hands-on workshops will
be offered on a wide range of hydrocarbon gas and liquid measurement as
well as flow control topics. In addition, extensive educational
exhibits will be presented by leading manufacturers serving the
measurement industry worldwide, and there will be unique opportunities
for one-on-one learning experiences as well as outstanding networking
opportunities.
The 2014 school will feature a broad gamut of instructor expertise,
experience, and backgrounds to provide a pragmatic blend of technical
training and industry insights. In addition to classes and workshops
that will afford an outstanding learning experience, attendees will
have the opportunity to personally meet with hydrocarbon industry
measurement professionals who can offer practical advice and new ideas.
Timely topics, including the measurement challenges associated with the
burgeoning new shale plays such as Eagle Ford and Marcellus, will again
be integral to the 2014 program.
