“Soar Like An Eagle” Presented to HORN for Highest Sales Growth in 2013

HORN, one of North America’s premier distributors of specialty ingredients, chemicals and raw materials, was honored by Zeeospheres Ceramics with “Soar Like An Eagle”, an inaugural award which distinguishes the company’s top global distributor. HORN achieved record-breaking sales growth in 2013, thereby earning Zeeospheres’ highest honor within its distributor channel for the calendar year.

“HORN’s commitment to principal relationships and business growth are second to none,” said Jeffrey Strobel, sales engineer, Zeeospheres Ceramics. “We congratulate our partners at HORN for earning the undisputed title of top distributor in 2013. We are looking forward to an even better year with HORN in 2014.”

The Zeeospheres “Soar Like An Eagle” award was presented to HORN during its annual year-in-review meeting, which coincided with the World of Concrete® convention in Las Vegas. Accepting the award on behalf of HORN was Bob Ahn, president, HORN Industrial Division; Vince Anderson, vice president, HORN Coatings and Building Materials; Eva O’Keefe, strategic account manager; Jay Umphrey, senior account manager; and Michelle Newcomb, sales support manager.

HORN was selected as one of only two Zeeospheres distributors in the U.S., and five globally, because of its established and technically-trained sales team, which was commissioned to help Zeeospheres develop new business, since it was acquired from 3M in 2009.
