Benjamin Moore ranked the top solid stain in the June 2014 Consumer Reports tests of house and deck stains with its ARBORCOAT Premium Exterior Stain.
Offered in several finishes designed to enhance the appearance of a deck or wood surface, ARBORCOAT earned the #1 ranking in the solid stains category for its outstanding appearance over a three-year span, as well as resistance to cracking and color change. ARBORCOAT also earned high marks in the semi-transparent stain and clear sealers categories.
"Earlier this year Benjamin Moore ranked highest in interior paint by J.D. Power for the fourth year in a row," said Mike Searles, president & CEO of Benjamin Moore & Co. "Our Research & Development team is continuing to be hard at work innovating, improving and testing our suite of products to offer best in class coatings to our customers."
ARBORCOAT stains endured three years of vigorous outdoor weather conducted by Consumer Reports, proving Benjamin Moore is committed to delivering the highest quality of colors and paint. The full report on house and deck stains, which includes comprehensive buying advice and reviews of products, is featured in the June 2014 issue of Consumer Reports and online at www.ConsumerReports.org.
