PPG Industries' automotive refinish business has added JC7100 European Multi-Panel Clearcoat to the SHOP-LINE brand product line. The new 2.1 VOC (volatile organic compound) clearcoat—designed for large repairs—was developed specifically to provide cost-conscious collision centers with the ability to efficiently deliver an impressive gloss finish.
“This is another example of Shop-Line products that deliver exactly what repair centers want—in this case, an economically-priced, quality 2.1 VOC clearcoat perfect for multi-panel work,” said Jennifer Boros, PPG segment manager, solventborne brands. “We’ve made JC7100 easy to use and suitable for large jobs or where a deep gloss finish is desired. It’s an ideal example of the Shop-Line brand’s commitment to provide products that balance performance and price.”
Boros also pointed out that JC7100 features a 2-to-1 mix ratio and is compatible with two Shop-Line hardeners to make it easily adjustable to working conditions and job size. Further, its 2.1 VOC addresses the requirements of regulated U.S. regions as well as Canada.
The Shop-Line brand offers everything required to perform efficient, quality and economical refinish repairs, Boros said.
