CCAI’s National office is now accepting Applications for our 2016 Matt Heuertz Scholarship Program. Awards will be announced in June at CCAI’s 2016 Annual Meeting in Vail, CO.
The goals of CCAI’s National Matt Heuertz Scholarship Program are:
• Contribute to the funding of education that could lead to a career in the finishing industry
• Stimulate interest in finishing
• Encourage finishing curriculum
• Provide student assistance
• Gain public relations exposure for our association
STUDENT CRITERIA
• High school senior planning to attend college or technical school or a current college or technical school student
• Sincere interest in supervision, production & processing, engineering, management, chemistry, or quality control in the finishing industry
• Minimum of 2.5 grade point average or better (4.0 scale)
• Enrolled in a technical or degree granting program that would qualify the student to be hired into the industrial finishing industry
To apply for a CCAI 2016 Matt Heuertz Scholarship, students must complete a CCAI National scholarship application; provide a transcript or other grade verification and a resume with photo. Several CCAI Chapters also provide their own scholarships. Complete details on Chapter Scholarships are available on CCAI’s website as well.
