Wimpel, one of Brazilian leading suppliers of painting equipment, has just expanded its portfolio by introducing new spray guns, sanders, agitators, airbrushes and air compressors. According to José Vitorino, director of the company, the launches are not just for painters specialized in automotive repairs, but also for professionals operating in the segments of real estate, furniture, hobby – building model airplanes, for example – and cosmetics.
“We developed solutions that meet the demand of a certain portion of the market for compact equipment, while maintaining a top quality finishing,” he said.
This is the case, for example, of the gravity spray gun MP-201 HVLP, ideal for automotive and furniture applications. Characterized by its ergonomic design and the presence of a 1.0 mm stainless steel nozzle, the MP-201 HVLP contributes to the reduction of paint waste – due to the low air pressure, 20 to 25 psi, there is minimal misting. “Special mention also to the possibility of using water-based paints and easy maintenance.”
In addition to the MP-201, Wimpel makes available to the market other HVLP-type gun models, such as the MP-2012 and MP-250, which basically differ by their production rate. “For real estate painting, we are launching the MP-2000 spray gun for the application of texture. This equipment mainly stands out for its strength”.
Another launch included in the company’s portfolio – which features 55 items, in total – is the MP-22, a specific pressure spray gun for painting small areas, common to activities such as hobby. Equipped with a 1.2 mm nozzle and a 700 mm container, the MP-22 requires direct air compressor, and Wimpel supplies the kit containing both devices.
“The new wall sanders, in turn, are developed from materials that combine lightness and strength, which facilitates the user’s work,” said the company’s director.
Founded in 2000, Wimpel offers the latest technology available in the world in terms of painting equipment. Its products are sold by 2,500 stores across Brazil, in addition to several e-commerce channels.
