Regional chemical distributor Superior Materials Inc, has added EMD Chemicals and Heubach Pigments to its product portfolio. Established in 1946 and with headquarters in Garden City, NY, Superior Materials is now responsible for the sale of EMD’s pearlescent pigments and extensive actives and additive product lines to the cosmetic and personal care markets. Further, Superior will promote EMD's industrial line of pearlescent pigments  to the paint, coatings, inks, plastics and construction chemicals markets. Superior’s territory for EMD is the mid-Atlantic to New England region (MD thru ME). EMD is recognized as a leader high quality effect pigments and cosmetic actives.

Heubach Pigments is a long established and highly regarded manufacturer of pigments, pigment preparations, dispersions, universal colorants and anti-corrosive additives. Superior’s current territory for Heubach is mid-Atlantic – New England (eastern PA-ME). Heubach’s markets include paint, coatings, inks, plastics and construction chemicals.
