Job Description:
Overview: Mid- sized technical coatings manufacturer has an opening for a Technical Sales Representative to cover their mid-West region. Will report to the VP of Marketing and Sales. Great opportunity for a new employee to have significant impact on revenue and margins.
Main Responsibilities: Candidate will manage sales and service needs of the Midwest industrial customer base. Will include travel within the region to assist in technical trouble shooting, core customer service along with identifying opportunities for new business.
Location: Will work from home office within a two hour drive of Minneapolis, MN.
Compensation and benefits: Base salary with bonus; competitive benefit package including coverage of business expenses, company car, medical, dental & vision insurance along with a 401K plan.
Qualifications:
• 5+ years of experience in either industrial finishing systems applications or finishing systems management for both powder and liquid coating systems to include knowledge of industry standard substrate pretreatment processes and curing systems.
• Excellent analytical and trouble shooting skills
• Excellent relationship skills in dealing with customer issues.
• Ability to identify and close new business.
• Can work independently
