The Business Development Manager will be directly responsible for acquiring and developing targeted new business and maintaining and servicing assigned accounts within their territory. In addition, you are responsible for sales growth by identifying, developing and converting new accounts and new product opportunities. You must be able to manage activities to achieve sales goals.

Job Description:
Advanced Polymer Coatings, a leading manufacturer of industrial coatings, is growing and looking for a Business Development Manager. This is a full time position located in Cleveland, Texas or South Central area and working in conjunction with our facility and office in Ohio.
The Business Development Manager will be directly responsible for acquiring and developing targeted new business and maintaining and servicing assigned accounts within their territory. Duties and Responsibilities include:
- Prospects continuously for new clients through a variety of techniques, including telephone solicitation and cold calling
- Analyzes local market to identify market opportunities, prospective companies and associated buyers
- Develops and submits proposals and responses to RFL's issued by prospective clients after obtaining pricing and specifications approval from management as appropriate
- Develop a territory management plans and implement a new customer call strategy sufficient to generate new accounts.
- Manage customer projects and trails to ensure industry leading service and support
- Interface with Customer Service, Sales, Operations, Technical on customer activities as needed
- 10+ of years of industrial sales experience within the Rail Coatings marketplace
- Knowledge of coatings or chemicals or equipment used in Coatings markets
- Proven ability for technical selling and ability to prospect, commercialize and maintain accounts
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to clearly communicate to a variety of audiences including senior management, customers and co-workers
- Strong technical background and excellent organizational skills
- Self-motivated team player with exceptional people skills and character and a desire to thrive in a fast paced, entrepreneurial and lean environment
