Imerys Performance Minerals North America announced four to 10 percent price increases effective December 1, 2011, subject to any provisions in individual contracts. The price increase supports investments in manufacturing, quality systems, environmental compliance and new product development, the company says. The increases will affect all calcium carbonate, kaolin and mica products while the energy surcharge will remain in effect.
