Microspersion® 1213 UVW

MICROSPERSION 1213 UVW is a unique dispersion of finely micronized modified polypropylene wax which has been dispersed at 40% into an acrylic vehicle. MICROSPERSION 1213 UVW allows the formulator to use highly efficient micronized waxes in liquid form.

MICROSPERSION 1213 UVW contains a wax incorporating high molecular weight polymers and (microencapsulated silicas) in order to provide optimum mar and abrasion resistance. MICROSPERSION 1213 UVW will also provide uniform and efficient gloss control as well as a smooth non-abrasive surface to waterborne coatings on wood, metal or paper. MICROSPERSION 1213 UVW will not powder or chalk when used in exterior applications.

Additions of 2.0 - 10.0% (by weight) of MICROSPERSION 1213 UVW will provide optimum performance.

MICROSPERSION 1213 UVW is especially recommended for use in wood finishes (interior or exterior) and will stay in suspension while providing gloss reduction and burnish resistance. MICROSPERSION 1213 UVW is also suggested as a non-blocking, non-skid wax for water reducible printing inks and overprints.
