MICROSPERSION 22-50 is a controlled dispersion of a basic straight chain hydrocarbon synthetic wax produced by the Fischer-Tropsch process dispersed at 50%. It is intended as a general use stir-in wax additive. MICROSPERSION 22-50 allows the formulator to use highly efficient micronized waxes in liquid form. MICROSPERSION 22-50 is versatile, economical, and extremely easy to add to a formula with only mild agitation needed during incorporation.
MICROSPERSION 22-50 provides good scuff and mar resistance with excellent slip properties as well as long lasting water beading and weather resistance.
Additions of 1.0 - 4.0% (by weight) of MICROSPERSION 22-50 will provide optimum performance.
MICROSPERSION 22-50 is recommended for use in the following areas:
Water reducible flexographic (paper or film), packaging gravure (paper or carton) and publication gravure printing inks; water reducible wood finishes, coil coatings, industrial finishes and latex paints; aqueous coatings for offset printed folding cartons or paper (Dahlgren, Epic, etc.); aqueous overprint varnishes.
