MICROKLEAR 709 is a finely micronized combination of Polyethylene, Carnauba Wax and PTFE. MICROKLEAR 709 is ideally suited for use in coatings applications where excellent gloss retention, clarity and slip are desired such as in clear lacquers and OPV’s. MICROKLEAR 709 will impart scratch and abrasion resistance with optimal slip properties to the most demanding coatings systems such as can and coil coatings.
MICROKLEAR 709 can be readily mixed into all ink and coating formulations using standard dispersion equipment and techniques. Optimum properties can be obtained by adding 0.5-2.5% by weight. The actual addition level will vary depending on the type of application and the required end use requirements.
