Emerald Specialties has introduced a new family of UV-curable colorants for printing and coatings applications launched under the Lucida Colors brand. The new product family, known as Lucida Colors EC, is designed for energy-curable (EC) systems and offers high-quality pigments with improved handling characteristics and low odor said the company. For the printing industry, the Lucida Colors EC line includes a full 12-color palette for flexographic printing and a CMYK set for sheet-fed applications. It also includes a 12-color palette of dispersions and four Trans-Oxides for paints and stains.
