l Effective July 6, BASF ’s automotive and industrial paint and coatings operations in Mexico­–BASF Pinturas, S.A. de C.V.–is operating as BASF Coatings de Mexico, S.A. de C.V. According to the company, the name change will align the unit’s “corporate identity and nomenclature” with its parent organization, BASF Coatings. One of three BASF companies in the country, BASF Coatings de Mexico, S.A. de C.V will continue to operate at its headquarters and manufacturing site in Tultitlan.
