Ross now offers laboratory three roll mills in three standard sizes. The company builds three laboratory and pilot plant mills in 2.5” x 5”, 4” x 8” and 5” x 12” sizes. The 2.5” x 5” model is offered for bench-top mounting, whereas the 4” x 8” and the 5” x 12” models are stand-alone designs for floor mounting. Ross mills are available with steel or stainless steel rolls, and are offered with special carbide coatings for the electronics industries. All models include coring of the rolls for precise temperature control during the milling process, according to the company. Manually operated roll settings are standard, while custom hydraulic controls and readouts are available as well.
