New Photomer
● Cognis has introduced Photomer 8127, a
wetting, flow and leveling monomer
for clear and pigmented coatings for
plastics, paper, metals and 100%
spray applied coatings for various
wood substrates. This monomer features
low irritancy, high solvency, low
surface tension and very low shrinkage,
according to the company. Among
the benefits are ease of handling, low
viscosity for spray coatings, excellent
leveling on difficult surfaces and
enhanced adhesion and flexibility.
