ICI Paints’ North American division has entered a five-year agreement with Habitat for Humanity International (HFHI) to become its national preferred provider of paints. The agreement will provide all HFHI affiliates across the U.S. a discounted rate on paint. In 15 selected markets, ICI will donate paint to all house projects for that year. In addition, it will sponsor a complete house build in one of those markets, with senior management and line employees working with Habitat volunteers to construct the home.
“Habitat for Humanity’s mission to reward hard work and an entrepreneurial spirit fits well with our own,” said Larry Porcellato, regional CEO, ICI Paints North America. “Like Habitat volunteers and benefactors, ICI Paints’ employees possess the resolve necessary to help each other and improve their own lives at the same time. ICI Paints has a unique opportunity to offer what it does best–manufacture high-quality paint–to provide one of the most important ingredients of any new house and make a new tangible, meaningful contribution to Habitat’s mission.”
