Rohm and Haas has introduced the following new additives: Acrysol RM-5000, RM-6000 and DR-300. Acrysol RM-5000 is a urethane rheology modifier with a Newtonian rheology profile that provides excellent flow and leveling in architectural paints, enamels, waterborne industrial coatings and overprint varnishes. Acrysol RM-6000 is a urethane rheology modifier with high- and medium-shear thickening efficiency to achieve flow/sag balance in a variety of formulations, such as architectural and wood coatings. Acrysol DR-300 is an associative rheology modifier—efficient at low and medium shear rates—that is similar to cellulose ethers. Its liquid and synthetic nature allows easy handling, enhances resistance to microbial attacks, reduces spattering and allows economic paint formation. Acrysol DR-300 is primarily designed for exterior architectural coatings. More info: Rohm and Haas, (44) 20 8774 5300 • Fax: (44) 20 8774 5301.
