Tego Coatings and Ink Additives has launched Tego Phobe 1650, a water-based silicone resin emulsion. Tego Phobe 1650 is free of solvent and nonylphenol ethoxylate, contains 50% of the active ingredient, is film forming and has good compatibility with styrene and pure acrylate dispersion. Silicone resin-based coatings manufactured with Tego Phobe 1650 exhibit extremely low water absorption, excellent water vapor permeability, good wet abrasion resistance and low dirt pick-up.
