Liquid Corrosion Inhibitor for
High Gloss, DTM Applications
● Halox is offering Halox 510, a liquid
organic corrosion inhibitor specifically
designed for direct to metal (DTM)
waterborne acrylics.
Halox 510 does not affect gloss,
allowing DTM topcoats with good longterm
corrosion protection. It also prevents
flash rusting, including that
occurring at welding seams, without
reducing the long-term corrosion protection,
according to Halox. Free of
heavy metals and nitrites, Halox 510
can be incorporated in any stage of
