Eastman Chemical Company has received a patent for an ambient oxidative cure composition comprising an acrylate functionalized alkyd resin comprising the reaction product of a hydroxyl functional alkyd resin; an acid anhydride; and a glycidyl acrylate. The glycidyl moiety of the glycidyl acrylate is the reactive moiety. The reaction product contains terminal reactive acrylate moieties, at least one drier and an organic solvent.
