BYK-Chemie has recently intro duced BYK-Wax, a complete line of wax additives to the North American market. This specialty line of waxes from Europe contains more than 60 additives for various applications such as architectural, wood, can, coil and powder coatings. The additives are offered as water-based wax emulsions, water-based and solvent-based wax dispersions, solvent-based wax precipitations and micronized waxes for water-based, solvent-based and solvent-free systems. These additives are used to improve the surface properties of coatings, adjust rheology and control the orientation of effect pigments. Surface texturing and structuring products are also available for water-based, solvent-based and powder coatings.
