Removable coating
From Rohm and Haas
Patent No. U.S. 6,555,615 B2
Rohm and Haas Company has received a patent for a peelable coating composition that is comprised of an aqueous dispersion of at least one polymer, wherein the polymer has a Tg of greater than zero to 40° C; at least one amphoteric release agent having an isoelectric point at pH three to pH eight; greater than 0.20 moles/100 grams of the polymer to 2.00 moles/100 grams of the polymer of at least one base capable of maintaining the coating composition from pH eight to pH 11; and optionally, at least one polyvalent metal cation; wherein the sum of the amounts of the base and the polyvalent metal cation is greater than 0.20 moles/100 grams of the polymer to 2.00 moles/100 grams of the polymer.
