Nova Paint Club, an organization of independent paint companies, recently met in Sydney, marking the first time the group held a meeting in Australia.
Barloworld hosted the event, which brought together the full board and technical directors from its 14 member companies. Delegates discussed a wide range of issues, attended presentations from suppliers and agreed to a program of joint research projects.
During the meeting, Boyd Cooray of Barloworld was elected chairman of Nova’s technical coordinating committee and Drew Vogel of Vogel Paint was elected to the executive committee.
The next meeting—for the combined board and marketing directors of member companies—will be held in October in Delhi. For more information, contact Peter Lovell, p.a.lovell@novapaint.org.
