Dispersions for Solvent Paint
Sun Chemical’s performance pigments group has introduced the Surpass line of easily dispersible products for universal solvent systems. This line of dry dispersions combines ease of dispersion with excellent strength development, according to the company. In many cases, it can eliminate the need for pigment milling. Surpass products are dry flushes for solvent-based applications that are high-speed dispersible with broad compatibility to reduce costs and increase yields. Surpass can reduce cycle times and color variation, offers low dusting and high pigment loading and has a 10-60% strength advantage over commercial dispersions at equal pigment content.
