Akzo Nobel has big plans for the world’s most important emerging market. On hand to commemorate a new regional head office in Shanghai—which is part of the firm’s effort to consolidate its activities in China—Hans Wijers, CEO of Akzo Nobel said his company will again double its sales in the country.
“We more than doubled our sales in China in less than five years and our ambition is to repeat that,” said Wijers. “We are strongly committed to further expansion in China, which has a key role in the company’s growth strategy.
