OXYGENATED SOLVENTS LINE
Lyondell Chemical Company has
expanded its oxygenated solvents
line with the addition of Arcosolv
PMP propylene glycol methyl ether
propionate. Arcosolv PMP is a non-
HAP glycol ether ester. Its broad solvency
and slow evaporation rate
make it a suitable replacement for
ethylene glycol ethyl ether acetate
(EEA), according to the company. The
solvent can also be used in a variety
of industrial coating systems, including
acrylics, alkyds, urethanes and
