E. I. duPont de Nemours and Co. has
received a patent for an aqueous coating
composition comprising 10-60%
weight of an aqueous dispersion comprising
water and at least one waterdilutable
binders selected from the
group consisting of polymethacrylic,
polyacrylic, polyester, polyurethane,
with linear, branched or star structures,
hybrid polyacrylic/polyester or polyacrylic/
polyurethane, epoxy modified
binders and mixtures. The amount of
the water constitutes at least 15%
weight based on the total weight of the
component, 5-40% weight of at least one
water-dispersible polyisocyanates or
mixtures of water-dispersible and
water-emulsifiable polyisocyanates,
blocked or unblocked, 5-70% weight of
filler material, 2-30% weight of a
ground polymer material, comprising
polymethyl methacrylate containing
filler, which is different from component,
0-15% weight of organic co-solvents,
0.01-15% weigh of additives, pigments
and 3-30% weight of water,
wherein the water includes the water in
