Sherwin-Williams’ pre-tax profit for the quarter to June 30 was up by 23% to $269.1 million on eight percent higher revenue at $2.13 billion. Growth came from strong domestic architectural paint sales to contractors and DIY customers, improved industrial maintenance product sales and improved automotive and product finishes sales. The company also reported increased selling prices and volumes for architectural paint in Mexico and South America.
