Rohm and Haas names Williams
Technical Director PQI
Stewart Williams was recently named technical director of the Rohm and Haas Paint Quality Institute (PQI). In this new role he will develop and manage PQI’s technical initiatives, including material for the training of painting contractors and paint sales personnel, PQI web site content, paint specifier seminars and other initiatives in support of quality painting.
Williams joined Rohm and Haas in 1989 as an application scientist for the company’s coatings business. Since then he has served in major roles in technical management, analytical research, market development and global product management. He has extensive experience in developing technical solutions for metal coatings, traffic markings, specialty primers, solution polymers, opaque polymers, pigment dispersants and rheology modifiers.
