Björn Hedlund is new global marketing director at DuPont Engineering Polymers
Effective July 1, 2007, Björn Hedlund assumed the role of global marketing director at DuPont Engineering Poly­mers (EP) in addition to his position as regional director Europe, Middle East, Africa (EMEA) for this business. He succeeds Timothy P. McCann, who is the new vice president and general manager of DuPont Electronic Tech­nologies. Hedlund will continue to be based at the company’s European headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland.
Hedlund has more than 25 years experience of DuPont’s engineering polymer business. His career to date has involved several senior positions, including the roles of product manager for Delrin acetal resin in Europe and regional business manager Zytel nylon resins for both Asia Pacific and the Americas regions. In April 2002 he took over the position of marketing director, EP Europe, and soon after in addition the role of regional director EMEA for the Engineering Polymers business. Most recently he had global responsibility as director for the High Performance Materials business within EP.
