Timson Oy, Espoo, Finland has obtained a patent for a particle granule consisting of plate-like pigment particles and a binder having a surface layer, characterized in that the surface layer of the granule consists of a layer that has at least one layer of pigment particles, which have mainly settled with their plane surfaces in the direction of the surface layer of the granule, and the plane surfaces of the pigment particles are substantially on the same surface layer.
