Henning named GM
of dow microbial control
Mark Henning has been named general manager of Dow Microbial Control, a business unit of The Dow Chemical Company. In this role Henning will assume leadership of the newly-combined businesses of Dow Biocides and Rohm and Haas Biocides. Henning joined Dow in 1983 as an electrical engineer at the Joliet, IL manufacturing plant. He has held a number of leadership positions throughout his career at Dow. In 2001, he joined Angus Chemical Co., a subsidiary of Dow, as global business director, executive vice president and chief operating officer. He assumed additional leadership responsibilities in 2004 as general manager of Dow Biocides, and as president and CEO of Angus Chemical Company.
