The Valspar Corp. has promoted Gary Hendrickson to CEO, succeeding William Mansfield. Valspar has reported that Hendrickson will take over the job on June 1. He currently is president and chief operating officer of the company, positions he has held since 2008. Mansfield will continue as chairman, the company said. Hendrickson joined Valspar in 1994. He held positions for Valspar in Australia and Hong Kong before leading its consumer business in 2005.
