Price Increases

Valspar increases industrial coatings prices

March 19, 2012

Valspar Corporation will implement a price increase for all liquid, powder and E-coat products within the general industrial portfolio, effective April 1, 2012. This action comes in the wake of significant raw material cost increases for Ti02, polyester and epoxy resins said the company.

"We are currently experiencing significant cost escalation in a majority of our raw materials,” said Brian Falline, vice president of Valspar’s general industrial division. “The pressures we are facing make this action unavoidable. We understand and appreciate the impact this increase will have to our customers, and will work tirelessly to help our customers continue to achieve their business goals during this difficult time.”
